The Soccer preset adds 1 goal per tap with no target score. Turn on the game timer to count up through each half.

How to keep score for soccer online
- Open the soccer scoreboard. The Soccer preset is already selected.
- Name the teams or players (2 to 12) and pick their colors, then tap Create Game.
- Tap a team’s card or its point buttons to add points. On a keyboard, press 1, 2 or 3 to score for that team and Shift + the number to undo.
- Open the gear menu for fullscreen and XL score size, or tap Share to get a 6-character code others can join at thescorekeeper.app/app/join.
- Share the game code so parents on the sideline or at home can follow the score live.
- Record a shootout separately: start a new Standard game for the penalties.
- Works for futsal and 5-a-side too.

How long is a soccer game?
A professional soccer match is 90 minutes: two 45-minute halves with a 15-minute break, plus stoppage time added by the referee. Youth matches are shorter and vary by age group.
What happens if a soccer game ends in a tie?
In league play a tie stands. In knockout games, the teams play 30 minutes of extra time (two 15-minute halves), and if they are still level, a penalty shootout decides the winner.
Can parents follow the score live?
Yes. Tap Share in the game to get a 6-character code. Anyone can enter it at thescorekeeper.app/app/join or in the ScoreBoard iPhone app to see the score update live.
