Online Ping Pong & Table Tennis Scoreboard

In table tennis a point is scored on every rally, and an official game goes to 11 points with a 2-point lead. Matches are usually best of 5 or best of 7 games. ScoreBoard's free ping pong scoreboard counts each rally with one tap, detects a win-by-2 finish and keeps a running game tally.

  2. Name the teams or players (2 to 12) and pick their colors, then tap Create Game.
  3. Tap a team’s card or its point buttons to add points. On a keyboard, press 1, 2 or 3 to score for that team and Shift + the number to undo.

Ping Pong scoreboard FAQ

Is ping pong played to 11 or 21?

Official table tennis games have been played to 11 points since 2001, when the ITTF replaced the old 21-point game. Many casual players still play to 21. Both formats must be won by 2 points.

How do you serve and score in ping pong?

Every rally scores a point for the player who wins it. Each player serves 2 points in a row, then the serve switches. Once the score reaches 10–10, the serve alternates after every point until someone leads by 2.

How many games are in a table tennis match?

Most matches are best of 5 games (first to win 3). Major tournaments often play best of 7 (first to win 4) in later rounds.
