How the Baseball preset works
The Baseball preset adds 1 run per tap with no target score. For a grand slam, tap four times. ScoreBoard shows the total score; it does not track innings, balls, strikes or outs.

How to keep score for baseball online
- Open the baseball scoreboard. The Baseball preset is already selected.
- Name the teams or players (2 to 12) and pick their colors, then tap Create Game.
- Tap a team’s card or its point buttons to add points. On a keyboard, press 1, 2 or 3 to score for that team and Shift + the number to undo.
- Open the gear menu for fullscreen and XL score size, or tap Share to get a 6-character code others can join at thescorekeeper.app/app/join.
- Tap once per runner who scores, including the batter on a home run.
- Use XL score size in fullscreen to turn a tablet into a dugout scoreboard.
- Share the code with family who can't make the game.
Baseball scoreboard FAQ
How many innings are in a baseball game?
Major League Baseball and college games have 9 innings. High school games usually have 7, softball games have 7, and Little League Majors games have 6. Tied games go to extra innings.
How many runs is a grand slam?
A grand slam is a home run with the bases loaded, so it scores 4 runs: one for each of the three runners and one for the batter.
Does this scoreboard track balls, strikes and outs?
No. ScoreBoard keeps the run total for each team. For a full pitch-by-pitch scorecard use a dedicated baseball scorebook app.
